Stoic Carbon CX/Gravel/AR/Road Rims & Wheels

I have done extensive testing and research trying to cultivate the all around best options for top notch carbon fiber rims and wheels. I have worked with a few different manufacturers over the past few years to come up with what I believe to be the best all around group of rims to fit all riding styles. The rims and wheels put together here cover CX/Gravel/AR/Road riding. Mountain bike rims will have their own separate page. The rims and wheels listed here will include the Drifter series, Blacktop series, and Volstagg series. Each will have their own page laying out specifics of each, but a basic sum up would be as follows. Drifter series is the 35mm deep AR/Gravel/CX rim. 25 hooked internal, 32 external. Tires range from 30 to 50mm. These will only be available in 700c. Blacktop series is a little more road to AR specific. 23mm hooked internal 30mm external, and a slightly deeper 45mm profile. These will be available in 700c. The Volstagg series will be for the more voluminous tires. 24mm hookless internal 30mm external and a short 24mm height profile. These will be more comfortable with 42mm up to 64mm. These will be available in 27.5”/650b, and 29”/700c. All rims use 4 directional CNC drilling, which allows straighter bracing angles creating a much stronger wheel. All rims are drilled offset, which allows more evn tensions between the two sides of the wheel, making a stronger wheel. All wheels will be built to less than 5% tension variance between spokes. Rims are hand laid with Japanese Toray T700 and T800 fibers, to a flatness tolerance of less than .15mm and a roundness tolerance of less than .2mm so you can rest assured that the quality of these rims matches or exceeds the quality of more expensive rims on the market. Angled bead seat design helps with tubeless set up, and helps to prevent burping while riding. Carbon fiber rims are a real option, and now they’re not as far out of reach as you may have thought.
